Smuk udsigt over Kandy

Dejlig og venlig vært/ejer, værelse med smuk udsigt over flod og skov, endnu bedre fra restaurant øverst. Minimalistisk morgenmad, men helt ok. Det eneste minis var at der efter strømafbrydelse ikke blev tændt for relæ på vores etage, så der gik ca 2 timer inden vi fik ventilation igen!

Good and bad...

The hotel is lovely but dated. It’s in the middle of a residential area, and although google maps says it’s a 20 mins walk to the town centre, it doesn’t account for the monster hills! There was no cleaning in the room whilst we were there, water was charged at an exceptional rate, which we weren’t told about. The staff were very friendly though, and couldn’t help us enough, as we were one of two couples in the hotel during this our of season period.

Good budget-friendly accommodation

We booked 2 rooms for 6 adults. The guesthouse made a very nice gesture by putting us up in 3 rooms so we ended up sleeping in a configuration of 3+2+1. All the 3 rooms shared a common patio that overlooked the back of the property which was peaceful and had a nice breeze. Breakfast is nicely done on the top floor of the building. An item to note is that there are no lifts, kettles or air-conditioning here but staff are helpful and will bring you whatever you require rather promptly.

2 Nights for 2 in Kandy

A great little guest house with fantastic service. We were initially concerned it might be too far from the city but it was only 5 min away by tuk tuk. Would thoroughly recommend.

We made the booking only a few hours before we got to the hotel. When we arrived around 10 PM, the place looked like it was closed and had been deserted. After getting the attention of one of the hotel guests, we managed to contact the staff who seemed completely unaware of the booking. They were unable to reach the hotel manager to verify the booking. Thankfully, Hasitha, a member of staff, promptly showed us to the room and assured us that we could work out the details in the morning. Hasitha greeted us in the morning and confirmed that the booking had been verified and showed us to the breakfast area. Breakfast was amazing! The manager also came by and apologized for the confusion the previous night. All-in-all, despite a bumpy start, the service at this hotel is fantastic.

Good hotel for exploring Kandy.

Cleaner than most hotels we have been to in Sri Lanka. Friendly staff. The restaurant had a very nice balcony. The food was ok.

The staffs were friendly, but the furniture is classic, but not maintained well and clean. The location is 2km far from Kandy City. The neighbourhood was quite.
