"The entire experience was great. The location was ideal, room was clean and spacious. The property was very clear and swift on instructions for checking in and parking. Also dog friendly. Overall would recommend The Hide to absolutely everyone travelling to Ghent. "

"For the price it was a nice stay. i didn't find it clean enough. i don't really know what to expect for so little money, I think the price/quality was just ok. rooms are noisy, luckily the neighbors went to sleep quickly. all in all fine, but a little more cleaning would be nice. "

"Avoid!! Flat was terrible, shelf’s hanging off the wall, dirty walls, shower keep blocking, mosquitoes everywhere, damp smell. Ask for refund and nothing back! Avoid!!"

"The owners at the home were lovely and we did enjoy our stay. They were helpful and well informed on the area. The Bikes also were a nice touch. We really enjoyed riding around Bruges. However the listed price was not the total expense. When I received the bill there was almost a full nights extra "property fee." Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent by IHG

"Second stay in this hotel; comfy modern rooms (USB C!) and easy access to ev charging and major transport routes on our journey brought us back. Last time the breakfast wasn’t brilliant, it was school holidays and very busy, so breakfast area was cramped and options were lean; this time, there was plenty of choice, and as midweek holiday makers we missed early business traffic, so there were no queues for the coffee machines etc. Maybe they could put more staff on to help keep the dining area stocked and clear when it’s busy? It looks like there is some building work happening on site, maybe a larger dining space is in the works?! We took an Uber into Ghent centre for a lovely meal at Du Progres, hotel was convenient and we felt could leave our car charging in safety. 1.5 hours by car to Le Shuttle. Ghent is nearly as pretty as Bruges, and as a lively university town it feels less touristy and full of hen/stag dos!"

"Beautiful hotel in the middle of old town. Everything was walkable from the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, a bit expensive, but the hotel was amazing We will go back. Parking was a bit of a chore, but if you have a small car. It is doable. "
