Microtel Inn & Suites Montreal Airport - Dorval QC
8/10 Good
"The water slide was a nice surprise! Breakfast had a great selection. Check in and check out were nice and simple. The rooms were clean and comfortable, did what they need to do."
"Room is clean and bed is great to sleep on.
Free breakfast is a plus including parking.
Distance from downtown Montreal was an issue during the weekdays due to traffic of which we haven't taken into consideration.
Aside from that hotel is great and would highly recommend."
"Hotel is ok, well located and the rooms are comfortable . Beds and pillows are very comfortable
Our shower was clogged , I reported it but didn’t fixed it"
"I use the gym and the pool my flight was at 7am so the shuttle was super helpfull. I took the 4:30am shuttle run and the driver help me with my bag. I like the coffee station."
"I love the convenient air shuttle. Thing of note is that if you're coming from the airport, keep an eye out for the white vehicle with three different logos 😅 If your view is blocked, you might miss it. We didn't, but it's a possibility. Drivers were awesome. Once you're there, the front desk can book you for the shuttle going back to the airport.
Airport to hotel (~5 or 6 PM weekday) took maybe 20 mins due to traffic. Hotel to airport (~7 AM weekday) was surprisingly quick (7 mins)! From an outsider's perspective, I was worried about morning rush hour traffic but maybe we got lucky?
Staff all around were great and accomodating. We were in a rush to get to the shuttle for an early flight and accidentally left one of the keycards in the unit, but the staff reassured us we didn't have to run back to our room at the very end of the hallway.
Breakfast buffet was delicious and options were plentiful (egg, yogurt, bread, etc.)
Maybe it's an us problem but we had zero clue on how to use the AC in our room. There's a thermostat on the wall and it worked... we think? We were sort of expecting some sort of control panel or remote... Not a deal breaker though.
The room's spacious, with a mini fridge and a chair+desk space to set your laptop down."
