Unfortunately, our stay was a bit disappointing. While the location worked well for our Kansas City trip, the overall condition of the property left a lot to be desired.
Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by an unpleasant smell. The space also felt consistently humid throughout our stay, which made it less comfortable than expected.
The property was generally clean, but it is definitely showing its age and could use some attention. There was chipped paint throughout, worn bathroom laminate, and a shower faucet that had pulled away from the wall, which we had to push back into place. We also noticed a wet spot on the living room rug, some food underneath the TV console, and an old pair of shoes under the primary bedroom bed. While none of these were major issues individually, they contributed to an overall impression that the property could use more attention to detail.
Even some of the furniture placement was inconvenient. For example, the bedside tables weren’t positioned near electrical outlets, so we had to move them just to plug in the lamps.
The check-in process was also unnecessarily frustrating. We were required to download an app to access the property, and then the app didn’t work properly.
Overall, the property served its purpose for our trip, but it felt tired and in need of some updates and general maintenance. With a little attention to these details, it could be a much better experience for guests.
