"Clean room with a cosy breakfast and kind staff in the heart of Male - walkable to many areas around the old part of the city and very close to the airport! The airport transfer included in the price of the room was great - kind staff and accommodating for the last minute changes in flight times. The only issue was that we stayed on the second floor and the rooms were not very well insulated and we could hear the noise from the road "

"Well the first I would like to say it's really expensive place and I would like to mention that you will got much more for the money on other all inclusives around the world. The rooms we had was okey but the floor has started to fall in pieces so they had put tape where it was coming out sharp wood points coming out from the floor not so very nice. The beach was okey but not 5 stars some dirt here and there. The beach we had in front of our room had exhaust gas lying as a layer on the beach apparently the generator for the island plant was there so our image that Maldives would be the paradise was ruined The food was great if you like Indian and Asian dishes. Not any western food. The drinks was the cheap alcohol and not so many variosites. Should I go there again the answer is NO!"

"Airport shuttle for pick up and drop off, was efficient and easy to locate the driver when exitingthe airport. Very friendly, carried our luggage to the car and into the motel. Friendly reception staff, carried luggage to the room. Room was very clean and cool with air conditioning running in anticipation of our stay. A little crystallisation in the tile grout in the bathroom but other than that, it was very modern with USB ports in the power points and a very resonably priced mini bar. (No alcohol) A gift shop in the spacious and comfortable foyer. The buffet breakfast was terrific with a wide variety to meet all tastes. I recommend this property as it was extremely convenient as a stop over port to the atolls. The township is not tourist friendly, use it as a layover, not for vacation. "

"We were very happy with our short stay here. The airport meet went well, the lady at the reception desk was very helpful as were all of the staff. We had to leave early and they organized a 6 AM buffet breadfast for us, which was delicious. So this is an excellent hotel in our view."

"WOW, one of the best hotels i have been to in the Maldives! Super clean rooms , beach studio is awesome with a private beach. Lots of things to do compare to anywhere else, variety of restaurants 15 different cuisines, hookah lounge, small markets, even a smoke shop and a disco. Few pools with bars, music and entertainment day and night. Our housekeeper was great and helpful, front desk people are awesome, the Russian lady helped us and extended our check out since our flight is at night (Thank you and no additional charge). I would definitely come back to Hard Rock resort next time we are in the Maldives. Great experience, thank you all . The only thing that i did not like was the service in that ne of the restaurants which was a 3th party and not part of the resort, Tappanyaki place called Blue something, servers deff need some training ( thanks to our table chef we were able to order drinks finally he was awesome though and food was outstanding). Anyways thank you all! "

"Great resort , well located 20-25 minutes speed boat ride to Male airport . Very attentive staff, great food and amenities. Water ocean villa are just amazing and very well kept like new. Also great to be able to snorkel around the island straight from the villa . Well recommended ! Thanks for a great experience! "

"Our stay was a NIGHTMARE , made worse because we have had no apology from the hotel, verbal , written or compensation for what happened . We booked the Ocean View Suite and indeed on checking in it seems great , however later the bathroom started leaking water and it was the worst sewage smell we have ever smelt , spreading throughout the whole room .. Then at around mid night the power failed in the room , we were worried both about Hygiene and also getting and Electric Shock with the water everywhere in the bathroom. We had to beg to get another room obviously we could not stay there, we could hardly breath the smell was so bad . Initially however the reception staff said there was no other room available , we insisted and then after some calls we were found another room in sister hotel , It took almost to 2am to get sorted in the other room, The other room was tiny and extremely noisy in the front of the hotel and almost on top of a busy road. We didn't sleep. We complained at the time and also afterwards about what happened and also via hotels.com, who has tried non stop to speak with the hotel management , with no success. Management wont answer Hotels.com. You will understand that we would not of expected to pay the full price for the Ocean suite when we never had it and indeed the experience we went though. It is unbelievable we never even had an apology in any form. We strongly suggest you book elsewhere this management does not care about its guests "
