"Conveniently located next to Bern train station. Close to the Parliament, restaurants and local food store. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Beds were comfy. Only negative we had a charcuterie board one evening which was too large for only 2 and quite pricey."

"Big rooms, comfortable beds, clean, great breakfast bar, hotel has that old style charm but rooms are big and recently updated, no AC and they need to invest in newer more efficient fans, rooms are VERY noisy because hotel sits right under the street trolleys and they run 24/7... Is within walking distance of the main train station in Bern. Staff is friendly and will go out of their way to meet your needs."

"Great location, clean, comfortable beds, room had all that one needs, spoiled with MODERN room and air conditioning...rare in many Europe hotels. Greeted with a free beverage and ice cream! Welcoming and friendly staff, helpful and knowledgeable staff to help with guidance in Bern. Will stay here again. Their breakfasts looked fresh cooked and great but decided not to book with it."

"This is just an amazing hotel in the perfect location--right at the entrance to the old city and directly adjacent to the train station. Our room was clean and well appointed, and I can't say enough about the staff, especially the desk clerk who helped us figure out the Aare swimming logistics, She even provided us with a hotel branded dry bag for floating down the river. My only comment is that the AC was not that strong, but the staff did provide us with a supplemental AC unit which cooled the room down considerably. HIGHLY recommend !"

"Exceptional across the board with one small caveat. Excellent location, spotlessly clean, reasonably priced, safe neighborhood, and very helpful staff. My room was small but exactly what I needed: a comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, plenty of hot water, and adequate air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and included in the price. I also loved the rooftop seating area for sunsets and people-watching. Other nice touches: washer/dryer (7 CHF), restaurant next door, small fitness room, 24-hour self-service coffee, elevators, and in-room safes. My only complaint was check-in. I arrived around 1:20 p.m. after roughly 16 hours of travel and was firmly told I could not have my room until the 3:00 p.m. check-in time. I waited in the lobby for about an hour before asking a different front desk employee, who immediately said, โOf course, your room is ready,โ and checked me in. I completely understand guaranteeing rooms by 3:00 p.m., but if a room is already cleaned and available, allowing an exhausted traveler to check in early is simply good hospitality. That first interaction left me wondering what kind of experience I was in for. Thankfully, that concern disappeared quickly. Every staff member I dealt with afterward was outstanding, and the rest of my stay was excellent. I would happily stay here again."
