"The hotel/ house was built in the 1800’s so it has been renovated to accommodate modern plumbing without altering the original structure too much. The bathroom was well appointed but up 3 stone steps from the bedroom floor. The room was charming & clean with a air conditioner & heater for modern comfort.
The location is not easy to locate & navigate due to the narrow stone streets that are not on a grid pattern throughout the town/village. There are signs along the road/path & on doors if you look & aren’t depending on your google map on your phone.
But it is charming & walking is the best & often only way to navigate this mountain village.
The manager/host/owner Atill was very welcoming & accommodating & thankfully spoke English. His young staff person was very friendly & helpful despite not speaking English. Atill arranged a wine tasting with his friend & recommended a restaurant, and walkef me there when I couldn’t find places.
Breakfast was wonderful but not included for a small price. He even had delicious tea that he created with his secret recipe.
I said that I would give him a “10” rating my experience at his hotel. He definitely made my stay a very enjoyable positive experience for this older solo traveler.

"We really loved our stay at the hotel and town. It is definitely a local tourist site and English is limited, even at hotel. This did not bother us at all and they went out of their way to assist us. Be warned it is in the heart of their bazzaar, quiet but a bid hard to find. I loved our painted room and the antique closet. Breakfast was traditional and good for our needs. I would recommend. "
"Staying at the Chez Rumi and visiting Şirinçe was an incredibly pleasant and memorable experience.
It was different from a typical hotel experience. The hosts were so warm, hospitable, and easy-going that we felt like guests at a good friend's or relative's home. The unit was spacious and clean despite the old building. The bathroom could use some renovation but it was overall decent.
The location is perfect, at the heart of the town next to the historic bazaar with a few parking lots at a walking distance away. It felt super safe even at the latest hours. There are lots of clothing and souvenir shops, restaurants and coffee shops, ice cream shops, and wine shops with underground cellars, all at a convenient walking distance.
The hotel's restaurant was great, too. The breakfast was just perfect and the other meals were easily the best food among the ones we tried in town. The open-kitchen concept made the experience more special, as we could wine and dine with the owners family and staff as they cooked delicious food for us in front of our eyes with organic ingredients from their own farm and village. We were able to make and self-serve tea as if it's our own place, chitchat with the owners over food or drinks, and watch our children play together. Our toddler had a lot of fun playing with their kid, who was also kind, caring, and sharing, e.g., she let him pet her kitten and parrot and brought him toys to play in the yard.
I would strongly recommend it!"
"The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the terrace for reading and tea. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring the town, but driving in the town and near the hotel is very difficult. "
Terrace Houses Sirince - Fig, Olive Clockmakers and Grapevine
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful place in Sirince with wonderful views. Delicious breakfast on outdoor terrace ever day & plenty to see in the surrounding area. The owner was away but kept in touch & organized an excellent guided tour to Ephesus. We took the opportunity to also visit Pamukkale & enjoyed some relaxed days in Selçuk & on the coast. Highly recommended."
