"After two days of exhaustive work reenacting at krigsflygfält 16 and Karlstad, it was such a relief getting to be at a quiet, one person room over the night. It was clean and had many amenities. The staff, rooms and service was very comforting."

"Flott plass. Stille og rolig. Veldig godt treretters til middag med topp service. Deilig bad i tjernet ved ankomst. Rommene var dessverre alt for varme. Ingen klimaanlegg i 30 grader det merkes. Dårlig søvn. Flotte stilige rom. Badet var gelt greit. "

"Excellent dinner and breakfast buffet! I am vegetarian and I couldn't imagine any better! Loved it! Convenient location, everything is in walking distance. Parking garage nearby. Had our Husky with us and we could feel that she was very welcome. Super hotel, ver come back again."
"It’s fine for a stay in Karlstad, easy walking distance to both the main area but also nice walks along the river etc.
Very basic hotel, not totally clean but ok. Breakfast was alright but nothing special. Not bad value for money for a city stay. "
"The staff and the breakfast were wonderful. Although the self check in was new for me, there was an attendant available who was very helpful. The parking was not obvious at all, and the pay station did not accept my North American credit card, she pointed me to some free parking close by.
Also in the morning she was extremely helpful with a personal situation.
The property is outside of town, however close to many trails, and right beside the river. It was a very cost effective choice for us. The breakfast was fantastic, great food options - the health juice shots were a pleasant surprise and the coffee was amazing. Plus the view of the hockey rink was not expected and very nice touch for us Canadians!"
