Lovely staff in a luxury resort. The only downside was a there was a party next door and we received no sleep. After visits from the hotel staff, I ended up screaming at the guests at 4.30 am and by 5.30 the music and shouting finally stopped. All we got was sorry from the staff and will report to the manager. We never heard from the manager.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels to stay at in Phuket and definitely the best one on the southern end of the island. It's location is also very convenient to restaurants and to make your stay even more convenient they'll drive you in their golf carts right from your villa to the main road where the restaurants and shops are and when you're done they'll come back and pick you up. I've stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and their service level exceeded my expectations. They constantly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable.

Good service at Kata Rocks
Service was v good except that the buggy service could be v slow even though the resort is v small. Not much to do apart from a gym and spa. The local area is v basic. Whilst price is many times cheaper than the resort the service and quality is also miles apart. Room Service is reasonable. Breakfast is basic. The main problem is mosquito. I don’t normally had problem but this time I was affected seriously.

Worst experience ever
Horrible service and experience ever. On the arrival day we try to check in but the staff said not til 3pm to check in so we went to the main street restaurant to eat and wait , I did tell the staff tat I don’t hv a local phone to call for the buggy pick up and they ask me to go to the Main Street KR store to ask for the buggy pick up. The weather was really bad the storm suddenly come and the store not opened ! No one at the KR store so me and my family sweating on the street and dunno what to do coz there is no wts app contact or any online contact! The point is there is a handy phone for local phone call in each room but the staff said we r not checking in yet so we can’t use it ! I made the reservation for this kata rock hotel fee months ago and wanna enjoy a vacation with my family but not even checking in already ruin our mood n we all sweating in the storm . What kind of service is it ?

Stunning villa with sumptuous breakfast, unfortunately the tv volume didn't work in the 3 rooms upstairs and we had to get help each time. Louvre was also not working in one bedroom and paint was peeling from the ceiling. For the price paid, shame that they didn't provide complimentary dishwasher and laundry detergent. Service was patchy as they didn't seem to understand our requests.

Should give 5 out of 5 rating but...
CONS - room requires a serious upkeep. Washing machine is broke. (so they offered a complimentary laundry service. We have no problem with that.) - bathroom blinds are rusty, vanity top chipped off. - bar chairs paint chipped off, living room couch stains everywhere. PROS - absolutely stunning view. - friendly staff with exceptional services. We love the check in hand wash ceremony. - love the smart home tech and a take me out cell phone. - breakfast is delicious. Kata Rocks is a hig end villa with a high price tag. The view and services should deserve a 5 star rating. We have no doubt about it. However the room upkeep is way below average. I would only give 3 star rating.

Have to stay here!
This hotel is by far one of my favorites! The people are incredible and will definitely go out of their way to cater to whatever you need. I had forgotten to bring some setting hairspray and called the front desk to ask if they had any, I knew the answer was probably going to be no, which it was. However, they arranged for their facility golf cart to take us down the hill to a store and the driver waited for us to buy everything we needed and take us back, granted this was at like 9pm! We stayed in the 1 bedroom villa and were completely happy with everything. My only regret was not staying there longer. If you're planning on staying here, just make sure you keep an eye out as the hotel is situated up a steep road and is hard to see from the main road. Our cab driver just asked around and we were able to find it pretty fast. Seems pretty weird that it's so hidden but the guy who had this idea knew what he was doing, the sunsets from their main restaurant, infinity pool and bar are amazing! Even if you wish to stay in your villa, they all face in the same general direction so we enjoyed the sunsets from our own infinity pool as well. I cannot say enough good things about Kata Rocks!

Did not live up to it's luxury claim
It claimed to be a luxury hotel but there were so many flaws that you feel it wasn't luxury at all. the rooms were not maintained well, so even though it is relatively a new hotel, it felt old. Housekeeping standards were not good as drinking water and tea had to be requested. Breakfast served by hotel were by no means the standard of luxury hotel. The standard of food served is acceptable but not spectacular, the choices were limited on the buffet spread. The design of the villa is not great as your neighbour can see you when you are at the pool, so there isn't any privacy in the patio.

Pros: villas are beautiful and the view splendid, the buggy systems is efficient, the location allows for walking to the -relatively quiet- main street in 5 minutes, the restaurant has great food (including great Thai food). Cons: no beach (but that is not a surprise given the names) and the beach is not far if you want one, avoid villas overlooking the restaurant's roof, housekeeping not the most efficient at making the room when you are not there / refilling things, etc., hotel will not call taxis / tuk tuks other than the hotel car nor help you negotiate fares when you find one, concierge service was hit and miss (no written confirmation of restaurant bookings, bookings made under a warped up version of my first name, etc.), forgettable SPA. Still happy I went but would not return.

Unforgettable
Our first trip to Kata area just after another short break around Patong earlier this year. Kata Rocks was an eyesopener to world class resorts. Staff are friendly, especially when we hit the resort too early in the morning, the staff handled professionally by letting us to rest at their lounge/ poolside and arrange dinning services. Impressive. The room- living area was spacious plus modern and the outdoor private pool was, needless to say, everyone's favourite. Bedrooms are clean and cosy but not super roomy. Overall facility including restaurant, bar, spa and gym are no doubt world class. Location was 10 mins walk from main tourists area which is good for a quiet hideaway. They have efficient club cars to ride you up the hill. Only thing is their lemongrass hair conditioner smells really bad. Front desk promised to review and I believe they really will. Will come back next year

너무 아름답고 깨끗하고 편안한 풀빌라!
주방도있고 세탁기, 냉장고, 냉동고, 식기세척기,전자렌지겸 오븐 모두 지멘스 브랜드로 잘 구비되어 있어서 유용하게 사용했어요. 6살 아이랑 임산부, 아빠 셋이서 이용했는데 편안하고 위생적이라 좋았아요. 무엇보다 뷰가 너무 아름답고, 빌라 인테리어도 세련되서 사진도 예쁘게 나와요. 수영장도 매일 깨끗하게 유지해주셔서 좋았고, 풀에서 약품냄새도 많이 나지 않아서 아이와 이용하기에 좋았습니다. 다음에도 또 방문 할거에요.

1番奥の部屋に通された。 1泊10万円以上でしたが隣の施設の樹木やら建物で陽は当たらない。 この点は予約時にリクエストをした方が良いと思う。 優れている点は、iPadなどの音響システムは秀逸だった。 また施設に高低差があるのでバギー移動が必須だが、リクエストすれば数分と待たずに迎えに来てくれる。 1番奥の部屋に通される可能性があるなら、値段の変わらないメゾネットタイプを予約する事をオススメする。

服務一般
唔值呢個價錢，服務好一般，連 welcome drink 都無杯。出出入入需要坐 buggy car，開多架車都懶，要三個客人逼喺後座（仲有一個就坐司機隔離）。Restaurant & bar 出品唔錯，但部分職員講嘢態度語氣好倔，無乜禮貌。Resort 個景同硬件係幾靚，但未至於好 impressive，配套就三四星級。

Отель прекрасный, очень стильный, крутой бассейн. Все замечательно кроме одного момента, который оставил неприятный осадочек надолго. Мы бронировали виллу с мужем на 3 дня и все было хорошо, потом мы переехали в другой отель и решили вернуться сюда уже с семьей еще на 2 оставшихся от отпуска дня, забронировав виллу с 3 спальнями на 6 человек. Мне пришло на почту подтверждение, с карты снялись деньги, мы еле уговорили родителей (они уже люди в возрасте) поехать сюда на 3 дня, 2 ночи. Каково же было наше изумление когда мы приехали и нам заявили, что нет свободных номеров! Персонал начал куда-то звонить, узнавать, мы просидели час, родителей не хотели впускать на бассейн, так как у них типа нет подтверждения брони. После того как я поругалась их все-таки впустили. А я с мужем еще час сидела и ругалась на ресепшене. У меня случилась истерика просто, я уже в слезах сидела от этой ситуации. В кое то веки я родителям решила сделать приятное, привезла их сюда, а тут такой облом, платишь бешенные бабки, а на тебе привет! Если бы я приехала без родителей то мне наверно было б не так обидно, я б согласилась на возврат и поехала бы в другой отель. Но мотаться со всей семьей это не тот случай! Менеджер на ресепшене все пыталась посадить меня в машину и повезти в другой отель типа такого же уровня, только на раз на 5-й она мне сказала название того отеля "The view" который совсем не тянет на что то похожее.Мы психанули и пошли на бар, сказав что это не наши проблемы как хотите ищите номер

Kata Rocks - Major Disappointment -
Avoid-Overrated-Overpriced ; major disappointment, stay away from the place. OK location and nice view but the villa and resort amenities a major disappointment. Staff not friendly and service minded, very hilly area requires buggy for every movement in the resort. only 1 pool and 1 restaurant no public chill-out areas in the resort. You are confined to your villa and to 1 restaurant with a limited menu.West location giving no sun during the day for the entire resort Kata Rocks is overrated and should be avoided. Major 5 star hotel in Pukhet head and shoulders above Kata Rocks. Place going south very quickly.

超級豪華的villa
超級大，舒服的villa 這是我第一次住這麼高級的villa。出入都有接送，非常好的服務.有生之年一定會和家人和老婆來渡假
