"Shampoo AND conditioner is included as well as lotion. Fridge in room was working but it is turned off between guests so it will take a long time to cool down. We were on the backside so we had a nice view of the mountains. The outside of the window could use a good cleaning. Price is reasonable for Alaska. Room was large and comfortable."

"Super easy check in process, very comfortable beds and bedding which kept us warm at night! Blackout curtains were excellent. Loved the screened in porch! Staff was very friendly and gave us a 30 min later checkout for our kids to sleep in, which we really appreciated. We loved that the shower had nice toiletries and that the cabin had a little kitchenette. It was perfect for our stay and great price! We would definitely stay here again! Only 15 minute drive to Talkeetna town area."

"Stay: Late-May, 2026 This place was fantastic! Perfect for what we were doing--a quick one-night stay in Talkeetna, and then on to Denali NP. This little cottage is every bit as quaint and charming as shown in the Expedia listing. The place is about 2.5 hours to Denali, so it's a great mid-stopping place to take in a great area. It's clean, well-appointed, aesthetically pleasing, and yet very utilitarian. If you're a couple just looking to "chill" for two or three days before you hit Denali NP hard--do it here. You won't be sorry. Take a nap, do some reading, binge a favorite show, take an incredibly beautiful hike, walk or stroll, rent a bike, work on your photography skills, whatever. Then head into town for breakfast, lunch or dinner and take in some great Alaskan culture. I'd do this place again without hesitation."

"I think the property was friendly to pets. It had a lot of room in the front & back yard, along with a lot of space in the living room & kitchen. The bed is big, so your pet could definitely sleep with you on it or they could go into the guest bedroom too. There is a massage chair that was definitely relaxing & the place was clean"
