"The hotel was very nice. I wouldn't necessarily call it a 4 star hotel but it was a solid 3! The staff very helpful and accomodating and the room was lovely. Only minor gripe was the outdated shower but it was functional and hot water was there within seconds so happy overall. The breakfast options were great but I would have appreciated dietary advice as I'm lactose intolerant on what has been cooked with milk or what contains milk. I stayed clear of all the different hams as some of them...

Nowhere in the description of the hotel you can find that the hotel does NOT posses a sandy beach with umbrellas!! Instead you use shadows of the olive trees, which might sound good but it does not give a feeling of being on the seaside at all!"

"Had the worst experience in staying in this hotel. My family and I booked a family sea view room. To our disappointment the sea was in front of us for sure, but there was a building in between! The room was the dirtiest room i have ever seen. Full of hair and dust. The towels and sheets were full of stains. AC was also very old and sounded a lot. After i turned it off it started leaking so much water i had to wipe it off the floor. The beds were some old rusty beds that were for sure at least...

"The hotel room photos you see are the hotel in another lifetime. (Never-the-less, let's continue...) In the midst of a heat wave. We were checked into a room with faulty air-conditioning. While we understand that issues do happen, being told to "suck it up" unfortunately doesn't cut-it. 'Customer Service' depends on which of the Hotel Receptionists you have the fortune (or misfortune) to counter. "The hotel is on the beach however requires renovation and the quality of the food is poor. There is not much you can see in the area and if you don’t drive is difficult because the public transport is not well organised. Will not recommend! "

"We had a wonderful weekend stay at Simantro half board. Easily accessible from Thessaloniki, beautiful authentic architecture and lush Green surroundings. Safe beach and stunning terrace looking over it. Very impressive buffet spread and super friendly staff. Had a massage at the spa from the lovely Georgia and bought souvenir gifts from the minimarket, made friends, relaxed and we even swam in the pool despite the cooler time of year. I would highly recommend. "
