I went with my husband and 7 year old son and we had a good time in Simantro. Loved the view and resort surroundings with all the greenary around, best part was the beach side and beach beds Beach was beautiful my son enjoyed. Nice area to visit with plenty of tourist attractions. We visited the vineyard and wine museum which was interesting but the coach came straight after we had tasted only 2 half glasses of wine which was included in the expense of the trip.
A very charming place with excellent tavernas and bars. The people were very friendly. The walk to the beach was via many steps, so would not suit everyone, but the walk there was very picturesque. The beach and surrounding waters were beautiful.
Liked the village of Afitos and thought it was probably the nicest area in Kassandra. Do not like the very loud music at every small beach you visit. Too many speakers which you can't escape from.
Kassandra is beautiful, it has some great beaches, fantastic views and great cocktail bars and restaurants. Afytos is definitely worth a visit for the views and traditional shopping and Pefkohori is lively and fun.
Great places to eat and good gift shopping. Leather goods are really nice and some unique. Felt welcome in most places :-)
Great holiday destination. Lovely beaches, scenery and food.
