"Location is great but I had some issues with the room. Floor was sticky with floor cleaning solution, seems to be common in Croatia. Fridge did not work at all which is tough when you want some cold water in the heat and store snacks for long stays. Remotes with dead batteries. Light bulbs burned out. Host has strange rules, not client focused. With some improvements this could be a great stay. "

"I travel a lot and this was as good as it gets. We had to actually leave the lousy, dangerous apartment we were at in Dubrovnik and getting here was a treat. The staff took care of the luggage, the breakfast was great as was the dinners we had there. The staff was smart, spoke great english and thoughtful. Also they had blankets as well as duvets - and the air conditioning worked well. The location was right on the edge of old town - we park in a lot about 150 yards away and just "rolled"...

"The staff at HotelOscar were great. They greeted us upon arrival, walked us through the place, let us know when the included breakfast is. We left early before breakfast as we had an early flight out, and they packed us a 'box' brekfast to go. The room was clean and well layed out. The restaurant next door was good too. We recommend the HotelOscar, especially for early flights out as it is close to the airport."
