Hotels near Kaudulla National Park

"I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Absolutely fantastic. Asela is so helpful and even takes you in his tuk tuk into town should you require anything. The property is beautifully maintained. I recommend that you take advantage of the magnificent tradition Sri Lankan home cooked dinner. It was delicious and and so cheap and we did that twice."

"Amazing hotel - great food, great location, and great facilities"

"We stayed only one nihgt and we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast is not that great though"

"Beautiful hotel, everything about this place was excellent. Highly recommend!"

"This is such a cool hotel, nestled in the jungle. And the novelty of staying in a tree house is quite fun! The hotel can help arrange nature walks which is a nice touch. "

"Very helpful and kind staff with beautiful surroundings "

"This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. He has a good...

"Friendly staff and beautiful place"

"The standout from this place was the pool. Easily the best to date in Lanka. It runs directly East to West so has the sun permanently on it, making it lovely and warm. It also appears in very good nick so I would guess is relatively new. The room was pleasantly adequate with no complaints. The odd thing was there was no reception as such so to find someone, I discovered ‘hollering’ ended up being the best way. Location is definitely Marmite with peace, quite and seclusion giving it a glowing...

"Great location to base yourself while visiting sites in the cultural triangle. Good selection of food for both breakfast and dinner and the staff are lovely and always happy to help. "

"Friendly welcoming staff, great room and food"

"Lovely, friendly family owned hotel. Excellent food (be prepared for a massive, homemade tasty Sri Lankan breakfast). Outdoor facilities a little basic but clearly a work in progress in improving. Pool and room were lovely. Nice nature walks nearby. Would recommend vegetarian dinner options."

"Offers a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Located outside of town (will need to take a Tuk Tuk) but a great location for peace and quiet. Breakfast is very good/filling and dinner offers a nice selection of food which was very good. Highly recommend."

"Very good aircon, nice airy room. Breakfast served on the verandah at the time of your choice. Within walking distance of town. Owner lives downstairs and is very friendly and helpful. "

"This hotel was the best we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka! It’s gorgeous, the room was spacious and the food was fantastic. "

"Comfortable family room. We were disappointed we thought we were in the tree house, but the kids ended up quite happy in the loft. Lovely quiet location with a beautiful garden. The staff were friendly and helpful"

"Very friendly, flexible and understanding management and staff. However, the best is the food. Amazing authentic Sri Lankan food!"

"Really a great place for nature lovers.Foods ,rooms, staff ,everything is amazing. Happy to recommend for all."
