Its a 10 min walk from the strip so far enough away from the rowdiness of Kavos if you want a quiet break. "This is a well managed and very clean family run hotel, and the friendly hosts & staff are very helpful. The rooms are spacious with a balcony (some with outstanding sea views) and a reasonable bathroom. The poolside bar/cafe is a relaxing hangout. The route to the beach is a few hundred meters of steep gradient but I am in 70's and coped ok. The small town and beach has plenty of eating places and options for the younger set. Overall - a good place to stay."

"Had the most amazing 10days at Ella Alkyna from start to finish. The staff were all so polite and friendly, the food was faultless and the desserts were to die for. Had an issue with our room and the reception staff didn’t hesitate to change our room and offer a free upgrade. Would highly recommend this hotel to any couples wanting an AI experience to remember."

"Lovely holiday . Nice room, didnt really use the hottub on the balcony. Enjoyed the beach and seimming off the deck. Struggled a bit food wise as my son has a nut allergy and the resturants, althought they tried to be helpful, they were only able to offer a couple of dish choices with no cross contamination despite dishes 'not containing nuts'. No pre packaged ice cream or beach snacks available that would be safe for someone with an allergy."

"A Nice, Legendary Hotel with Beautiful Views We had a lovely stay at Domes Miramare. It's a nice, legendary hotel, very well decorated throughout. The rooms were spacious and nice, with a beautiful view. A couple of minor notes: the room door was very heavy, and the hallway wasn't as clean as expected. The beach was amazing, with great sun beds and excellent service and incredible views of the mountains. The Italian restaurant was very good as well. My main feedback is about restaurant reservations — you need to book before arriving at the hotel, which we didn't know. The staff was able to fit us in at the Italian restaurant, but this should be communicated in an email prior to arrival so guests can plan accordingly. Check-in also took a little longer than expected. Overall, a great hotel and a wonderful stay in Corfu."

"The room was clean and good for the price. The air conditioning was a little bit weak given how hot it was but not a major problem. The only downsides were that there were quite a few extra charges in terms of evening entertainment, sun beds in the hotel and (refundable) for towels, which all required cash which we didn't have enough of, but staff were lovely and quite flexible. We were half-board and the food was decent."
