"The property is just as described... four cozy A-Frames (5th being built), owned and operated by a very lovely family. Highlights: The gardens and home cooking are every bit as good as all the other reviews attest! We also enjoyed the jungle trek. Challenges: It's hard to criticize a place when the cost is so low. But worth noting a couple of points; A/ this place is very remote! Best if you have your own transportation (bike). Grab is about 200k to the Munduk waterfall trek each...

"Best room ever best trip ever and I’ve traveled the world ! The place was most beautiful I have ever seen everything was very clean ! We were treated by royalty everyone was so nice and friendly the food was amazing views amazing value amazing they wash your feet with herbs and flowers before your massage they do your Laundry main attractions not to far away and they arrange a driver wherever u want to go in a luxury car we felt like royalty it was perfect for a honeymoon "

Staff super friendly , always kind and helpful . Great on site restaurant, tasty , thoughtful and generous menu. Breakfast was included in my booking, and it was superb. Highly recommend this place ! "An all around great experience. We were there during the rainy season, so while we didn’t see a lot of sun, there was a lot to keep us happy: terrific food, especially the breakfasts, lovely staff, and loads of activities to keep us busy. Really recommend the trip to the waterfalls as well as the sustainability tour around the plantation. A perfect example of how well they take care of their guests was when we had to have our dehumidifier replaced because it wasn’t working. It was done very promptly and to make up for the inconvenience (and it really was hardly an inconvenience at all!) they gave us a voucher for both of us to have a full Balinese massage which was heavenly. Can’t recommend Munduk Moding Plantation enough. "

"Staff was fabulous and kept the room and gardens as emasculate as possible. One thing that was substandard was extremely low water pressure in the shower. Barely a trickle and difficult to get it warm. There was also significant mold issues even with the great cleaning. I’m sure mostly due to the warm moist climate "
