"Location was kind of bait and switch. Completely different of what was listed on Expedia. Not a short walk from the beach, but a mile away. Check-in was terrible. Didn’t receive instructions how to check in as promised. After long wait and phone calls finally got access. Was supposed to get dedicated parking space, but it was constantly occupied by other vehicles. No soap and shampoo for shower. At least apartment itself was nice, quiet and clean."

"Majoituskohde oli uusi ja siisti. Siellä oli kaikki tarvittava 6 yön majoitukseen 2 aikuiselle ja 2 lapselle (pienet shampoot ja suihkusaippuat, pyykinpesuaine, pyykinpesukone, tiskiaine, astianpesukone, astiat, lakanat, pyyhkeet, vedenkeitin..ym) Rakennuksen yhteydessä pieni lähikauppa oli plussaa. Huoneistossa oli kaksi tornimallista tuuletinta, eikä siellä ollut mitenkään tukahduttavan kuuma, vaikka parina päivänä helteet ylsivät yli 30 asteeseen. Hieman tarkemmat ohjeet ulko-oven avaamiseen...

Borde förtydligas i texten och stå i punktform högt upp. Köpte till frukost som i sig var väldigt dyr i jämförelse med lokala priser, men även ur en väldigt dålig kvalitet. Det mesta av dessa plast tallrikar med portionsmat åkte ner i soporna. Rekommenderas verkligen inte att köpa till frukosten! "The bathroom and bedroom were very clean. The carpet was faded and discolored giving the room a shabby look. The room was hot when we arrived but cooled down when the evening temperatures dropped. We were upgraded to an apartment which was a bedroom and a second room with a massive conference table Nd 6 huge heavy chairs. I would have preferred keeping my double room with a view. The location was wonderful, just yards away from the Crane."

"We had a large room on the 3rd floor. Many other people have mentioned the ear plugs on the beds on arrival and worries about noise. When there was live music in the ground floor bar it was a bit noisy, but that did not go late on the weekend nights we were there (weekends include Thursday & Friday for Gdansk). It was very quiet Monday-Wednesday. Some street noise on Thursday and Friday nights, but the double glazing in the room helped with that a lot. The airconn unit was weak, took a long time to cool the room (about 12 hours) - and the in-room mini-fridge was essentially broken so it would not cool. However, overall the room was a very nice size, the bathroom was good and the breakfasts were incredible. All but one of the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is pretty stunning, right by the Golden Gate at the edge of the Long Street in old town. Many great eating options, short walks to the museums (Solidarity, WW2), or to explore the town. Also close to the airport bus and a major supermarket/shopping mall 5min walk away. I would stay again, which is my main test of a place - we mostly slept well, and the breakfast range was out-standing."

"We really enjoyed our stay, which was perfect for tourist activities in Gdansk. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped us purchase train tickets, advised on timing and the layout of the train station. The rooms are very nice but small. Toiletries in the bathroom were high quality."

"We loved the ambience of the hotel. The rooms were quirky. Location in a quieter part of town which suited us. Breakfast good. Beds comfy. The shower was a little awkward to use due to the angle it was located and was also disappointed not to have a safe in the room. We loved Gdansk and would definitely stay in this hotel again if we returned"
