"Hotel is supposed to provide housekeeping every other day, which is first indication that service is not typical of Marriot property. When asked on second day for housekeeping to provide service, was met with rude response about every other day service only, so asked if minimally could supply toilet paper since minimal was provided (used roll) from beginning , as well as dry towels as no where to hang used to dry. Neither happened. On third day went out first thing expecting service, came back after lunch and nothing had been done, so reminded front desk when we went out and again came back at 4pm and nothing, so called and reminded again and asked for toilet paper asap - nothing. Went out at 6 pm for dinner and concert. Asked front desk again for service, etc. Told it was a busy day with checkouts, but would be done. Returned at 11:30 pm and nothing. Called again and told housekeeping was gone for the day. Had to go take toilet paper from lobby restroom. We checked out the next morning & when asked how stay was and reminded them of frustration with housekeeping, was told, “ya, that happens”."

"The Manchester is a charming curated hotel with a refined but unpretentious aesthetic and vibe. The room was comfortable, considered, and full of character. The staff was warm, professional, and attentive without feeling overly formal. I’d say it has a distinctive southern charm that feels elevated without being contrived."

"Overbooked and not ready … I specifically requested and paid for a single king size bed … we were put in a room with double beds and the room wasn’t even available when it was promised. Also we paid for a room the night before that someone else also paid for. The hotel was understaffed and filthy."

Parking was convenient, air conditioner made helped me rest comfortably, and the showers and bath had good hot water. I thank you all for an easy booking a pleasant stay! CMD"

"The outside was beautiful. The carpet in the hallway and room very worn down and dirty looking. The bathtub looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in years. The room I was in was dingy looking. The breakfast bar didn’t have a lot of choices on it and what was there looked like it had been reheated frim another day."

"Below average rooms. Perhaps the heavy use by the various groups attending sporting events and conventions makes it difficult to keep the rooms in top working order. To be a Hyatt property the quality of the experience is way off. The common areas were nice enough, but the room itself was long past its prime. Banged up, roughed up, worn down/out. The only thing you get is location; unless you’re attending something at Rupp or the convention center there is no bang for your buck. Staff at registration truly struggled with their computer system which caused delay in getting checked in. Parking is very inconvenient especially if the weather isn’t perfect…crossing a busy roadway to your vehicle and a ticketing system that requires a validation every time you want to leave the property. A very poor overall experience for the price paid. Stay elsewhere if you’re seeking a quality experience. There’s certainly no luxury at this location."

"Though we booked a king and it still showed that there were 2 king rooms still two available, we were put into another room. The bed was very uncomfortable we would sink in the middle. There were two different hairs on sheets. There were markings in the bathroom. It goes on. We were very disappointed by our experience."
