La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Shreveport Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent hotel. Room was clean, spacious, and well-lit. Everything worked. Bed was particularly good.
Shower was a bit slippery and I was glad there were some sturdy grab bars. Parking can be a little tough.
Not a criticism, just a FYI because it's a bit unusual: there are a lot of restaurants nearby but it's mostly fast food or local restaurants. Most mid-tier chain restaurants are on the other side of the metro area."
"The hotel was fairly nice, but bring your heavy winter coat because your room will be freezing cold when you get there! Your breakfast, while tasty will be stone cold by the time you get to your table. There was also a noticeable bad smell in the hallways, like the smell of sewer gas. I don't think this property deserves being rated in the 8.0 - 9.0 range. It really was in the 7.5 range. I wish I had known there was a Hampton Inn right next to this property when I booked, because I would have stayed there."
"My room was very clean. The property was well-maintained. The staff was friendly and provided assistance when needed (I needed help with the room TV and check-out). They were able to answer my questions and get me the help I needed. Parking is free, but spaces go really fast. The breakfast buffet was unbelievably delicious. It definitely saved us some money from eating out. The elevators were a bit janky, but there are stairs available. Overall, I would rate my stay an A+. I would definitely stay here again!"

2/10 Terrible
"They gave away our room and couldn’t accommodate our sleeping needs for our family of 5. The hotel was not in good shape, pool was in shambles, dirty walls and floors, smelled bad, and there was an odor of vomit in the elevator."
"You can’t beat the price. This place is clean and the location is alright. It’s close enough to the casinos and my favorite part is that they allow dogs."
"All was good EXCEPT - we called the front desk twice to get extra toilet paper and were put on hold 10_ minutes before getting hung up on and then 20+ minutes before we gave up. ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!"
