Search Bed and Breakfast in Keene Valley

"High peaks was great for our summer stay in lake placid. We were in the waterfront collection and the ease of lake and pool access from the room was amazing. The rooms were cozy and beds comfortable. I wish they had fixed the dock the other side of the lake to give more options to sit and view the lake. The included water activities was a real treat! I would love to see refillable water dispensers, they were nowhere to be found at the resort; in the summer especially, that would have been nice. Also, one night they should have a late opening at the bar at the lake house. They closed at 9pm, in the summer. I get not every night but make it into a special evening with late night bar and maybe some activity at the lake house for the guests. Also, they had a movie night but I think the movie was poorly chosen because it was rated R-comedy and there were so many kids staying there at the waterfront and watching the movies. It was just uncomfortable. Could have been a family friendly comedy/movie but they made a bad choice. Other than that, recommend the resort, cant beat the location."

"I can’t say enough about this place - from every little detail, they thought of everything. We stayed here between two hikes and it was the perfect place to rest. Everything was comfortable and inviting. We booked the upstairs queen room with a private bathroom. And to our surprise it had its own sitting area with mini fridge, coffee station and microwave with chairs. Absolutely perfect to sit and enjoy. It’s so clean, and so adorable. The balcony has a great view and it was wonderful chatting with others who were also resting between hikes. They are so welcoming to dogs as well - our dog enjoyed it and was just as comfortable.. The staff is amazing and incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back as we plan more hikes in the high peak region and we honestly can say it’s just as much of a highlight as the hikes!! "Wonderful welcoming staff. Our two King rooms were very comfortable. Loved the breakfast baskets and the wonderful musician who entertained us one evening outside near the campfire and the free s’mores kits. Also free morning coffee or tea was a plus too. Perfect location with a nice walk to a beautiful stream."
