"I pre paid for a queen room the fellow who checked us in said oh I upgraded you to a queen which i thought strange didn't show us to the room or direct us and when we get there it's a double bed. We came from home where we have a king bed I am not a small woman and a double bed meant we had 2 uncomfortable nights. No plates to put our toast on in the morning just 6 bowls 2 different sizes some major cracks in the brick work also ope. Roll of wet loo paper on the floor behind the loo and a new roll in the main room ???? Shower wall had drippi g's of shampoo or such running down the wall from the window sil an easy clean clearly not looking. Never laid eyes on staff after book in."
"Absolutely beautiful. Nice and newly renovated. The only negative would be the time it took for the water to warm up.
Staff were lovely and incredibly helpful."
"There's a large group of us that go there fishing every year for several days, it's convenient for our needs. How ever our cabin is still poorly maintained, the kitchen light was not working last year and still wasn't working this year. The screen and glass front doors are still very temperamental and want to jump off the tracks if not treated carefully. The toilet/shower ensuite door is DANGEROUS. The wind blew it closed behind me and when I went to leave I found it locked and extremely hard to reopen, if a child was in there they would have found it near impossible to get it open. The cabin sleeps 4 but only the double bed was made so not everyone that stays there are a "couple" so the others have to make there own bunk bed, even though you are billed for the number sleeping there. The 2 staff that we did meet were extremely polite and helpful when we did go to the shop/office, other than that we did not see any other staff. The park itself is such a lovely peaceful place, the wildlife great for those into bird watching and fishing or just relaxing. There were a few "bush campers" who leave all of their rubbish behind that spoils the beauty but theres not much the park staff can do to prevent it, only clean up after the event."
