"no mini fridge or microwave in room ask fir ckean towels the hoysekeeler told me know and she was right there cleaning another room ask fir room to be clean left for 3hrs came back room not clean manger said they had until 7pm ( guy on 1st) 6 hrs later room was half clean face towels was dirty and put same sheets back on bed that I have ask to changed because I spilled a drink on them. The manger on night shift she was very apologizing and trying to make things right."

"Beautiful, historical B&B, decorated mid-century modern, close to downtown and walking distance to restaurants. The property has lush vegetation making it feel very private. When we arrived at 5:30 pm we had to ring doorbell and was greeted by remote host who explained all the codes to enter were sent via text. Once we entered we were able to access our room. We also found out at arrival that there was only street parking for up to an hour without a permit. So we had to figure out nearby streets to park overnight after arriving from a long journey. The other option was to pay for a $25 permit. Great location and walkable to nearby restaurants and shops. Our room was clean, but two lightbulbs were out. We had to text to request a code to access the cable tv, but did not receive a response in evening hours. The breakfast on the morning was absolutely delicious and our host was very friendly and helpful answering questions about the area. She even accommodated our request for a map and taking tea “on the go.” Overall, it was perfect for our one night to crash. The place could use some property updates, but it did not deter us from returning again in the future."

Ive had the privilege of staying at a few different hotels in the area (mostly in Wrightsville and Wilmington) and I can honestly say this one was probably my favorite out of all the ones we've stayed at. The staff was super nice, the room was nice, and we really enjoyed our stay."
