"Beautiful view from bedrooms across to Bamburgh and the ocean. Scenic and easy drive to castle and fantastic beach. Convenient for driving across the Causeway to Lindisfarne Island. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Bright and airy restaurant with dinner service daily. Also, a twenty four hour cafe serving snacks and hot meals. Plenty of parking space. Easy to find."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Marshall Meadows Manor House. We stayed one night, but ate dinner and the included breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean, the food excellent, and the staff genuinely helpful. The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant. We walked the cliff top trail from the property and enjoyed the amazing views of the Berwickshire coastline, as well as the farm animals at Marshall Meadows Farm. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to or through the area."

"This is a well appointed, conveniently positioned place to stay in Kelso. On site private car parking is available plus free on-street car parking - but please check timings which are well sign posted. Our room was exactly as expected and the en-suite ideal for our needs. Clean beds/linen and windows which opened - always a pleasant find. Our host was an excellent source of local knowledge and an excellent cook - well organized and provided a breakfast to set us up for the day ahead. Seems there are lots of folk who visit on a regular basis - always a good sign. The conservatory and garden are available to use & the wifi worked a treat. Didn't use the tv but was available in our room. Would gladly stay again and am only sorry it has taken us so long to discover The Borders!"
