Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean enough and bed was comfortable. Small and basic but good for the price. For adult and 17 and 8 year old they only provided a king size bed which was not satisfactory so had to pay Extra for a single bed to accommodate us better which I thought was a bit cheeky as as if we would want a massive bed in a family room, however to be fair to me this was put in immediately and well organized.

The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived, the room was lovely and you could see and smell how clean it was. We went for dinner in the meal was really good with good presentation and tasted lovely. Our breakfast was a very good size, there was plenty of variety to choose from too. All in all and great stay and we have already booked to go back.

Just a quick stopover stay. It's nothing fancy but it served It's purpose. The room was ok, beds (twin bedded room) were comfortable. The only 2 complaints I have are. There was only a socket at the side of one bed and there was no chair. The breakfast was very nice, all the usual food you would expect. I'd stay again.

The accommodation was comfortable but basic. We did pay for breakfast but although adequate there was no low calorie options. The restaurant was having a refit so breakfast was served in tne bar. Staff were very willing to help as far as they could. No charge fir parking.

All in all you get what you pay for. Alot of the hotel has been updated but you can see some parts are are a little old and worn. Everything was clean and tidy and staff were great. Beds were clean but felt the springs of cheap mattresses. Would stay again.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and serviced well. But it felt like a ghost ship. The hotel was sparsely furnished in large communal spaces and sometimes I had to wander around the hotel to find reception staff who didn't always man the front desk. There was a TV on the wall but it was too loud and the small bar was always closed. Never saw anyone in the restaurant. It felt like a hotel in the process of being updated and only part way through the process. But the price was good for the rooms.

Lovely hotel. Clearly in the middle of an upgrade. The room was brand new but the hallways and stairs were very 70s and worn. The staff were brilliant but burnt out. Example: I asked the receptionist about the bar being open and when I went to the bar (which is a maze like 5/10 mins walk away) the same person from reception popped up to serve me! 😅 it was like they were doing 5 jobs as one person. The food was Excellent and the alcohol very well priced. All in all I would go back for sure. 👍

After reading some reviews I was a bit concerned, but for a one night stopover this hotel is great. Large room, comfy bed, and most importantly for a warm night, very good air con. TV worked fine with good amount of channels. I arrived late in the evening (10:30pm) and the front reception staff were very friendly. The bar was open till 11pm, there were a few people in there still. The only negative is that the fire alarm went off a few times in the early hours, hopefully not a regular occurrence. Also, I couldn't hang up any clothes in the wardrobe as there were no hangers. A pleasant experience in a quiet hotel with plenty of parking. I'd happily stay here again.

Had a 2 night stay at the hotel in an Executive suite. The reception staff were very warm and welcoming & helpful. It was a business stay on a Friday and Saturday. Parking was good directly outside. Spacious room, very clean and tidy- the bed was absolutely huge and so comfortable it was very luxurious to sleep in after a hard days work. There was a beautiful wedding on at the hotel and looked so beautiful and glamorous, it was lovely to see. Very much enjoyed the stay & would definitely stay again. Staff have been cut to a minimum so often had to wait at reception for ages. The receptionist also seemed to be running the bar! The room was a great size (executive room) bit things were falling apart or not working. Tried a meal on Friday night but the (microwaved) fish and chips was uncooked inside. Got a refund and left. Plenty of potential but needs refurbishing and more staff. Also confusing: is this Ramada or Riverside?
