"The staff was friendly , the hotel and amenities were not up to the standards that are advertised. This hotel is very out dated many repairs need to be made. The restroom has no steam vent and there is water damage to the wall and door. Many stains and holes on the walls. The flooring desperately needs to be redone. Bed is old and not comfortable. Bare minimum with cleanliness."

"Amenities were amazing! Room was good. We paid an extra $100 for 2 nights to have the 2 dogs with us. Tv hardly worked, paused over and over so pretty much unwatchable. Room comes with everything you need including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion! My husband even forgot his toothbrush and they had one at the front desk for him no charge. Breakfast was great for a hotel! They even serve until 10am on weekdays!! It’s an older crowd which we prefer even being in our early 40s. Great company, great atmosphere, and all in all, a great place for the $! Heb and Main Street within walking distance. Most people there told us they come many times a year:) Heated pool, hot tub, fire pits!!! All great for a nice cozy evening in Fredericksburg "

"The good, the bad and the ugly. The good: this property is in a very beautiful area. The views are great and it was really quiet. The bad: There is poorly stocked convenience store on site. They basically had chips and drinks a few other items. The reach in coolers and gas pumps were not working. And there was a vending machine with cigarettes that looks like it’s been there since the 80s. The hours of the not-so convenient store were pretty bad as well. On Saturday morning they didn’t open until 9 am but I guess it really didn’t matter since their breakfast food selection was geared towards kids under 10. The ugly: The facilities are showing signs of decay. For example, the cabin that I was in has some of the “logs” rotting as well as the railings. The toilet was rocking back and forth, the mattress must have been 10 years old because it had a huge dip in it. On top of that, their internet was extremely slow if at all and the tv in the room was purely for decoration. Lastly, they expect you to take the trash out. And the water pressure is terrible."

"The room was clean, and the kitchen accessories great. Our ac vent was dirty but staff came and cleaned it right away. Our Murphy bed was comfy but was still broken in the same spot from last year as we stayed in the same room. We love it here as the pool hot tub and play areas are great. We are coming back in July. You can not go wrong by making reservations here."

"Parking easy, the 'air conditioner/heater did not work properly. Neither cooling or heat when needed. We only had small bars of soap for 2 people for 2 nights stay. "
