Staff was friendly and the restaurant‘s food was amazing. It was a little confusing when we checked in because our room was in a different building down the street and we had to haul our luggage up two flights of stairs into our room. The room does not have AC and the sleeping in the heat was very uncomfortable.

Personne à la réception accueillante. L'hôtel est assez bien situé mais partagé sur 4 sites. Je suis déçue car bien que la chambre semble agréable à première vue, la déception fut énorme au moment de se coucher. Le lit double est composé de 2 matelas individuels, un était correct, l'autre horrible ! J'ai dormi 2h sur ce matelas dans lequel on s'enfonçait littéralement, des carbatures de partout à 1h du matin et on a fini à deux sur un matelas de 90cm de large. Nuit sans aucun repos. Bien cher payé pour au final ne pas dormir. Je ne recommande donc pas cet hôtel. De plus, le lendemain, pour rendre la clé, l'attente à la réception était longue... Entre ceux qui souhaitaient simplement rendre la clé et les autres qui récupéraient du vin en même temps, c'était vraiment long et frustrant quand on a un planning de prévu.

Verbleven in de familie kamer. Upgrade gehad. Heerlijk gegeten in hun restaurant en smorgens hadden we een super uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Ligging direct langs de Rijn.

Trevligt hotell

Vi bodde inte i huvudbyggnaden utan i ett hus bredvid där även frukosten var. God frukost. Inte jättemycket att välja på men det räckte och var gott. Hjälpsam dam i incheckningen. Mycket ljud från tågen som gick ofta på andra sidan Rhen men tack och lov inte på natten (eller hörde dem inte i alla fall). Ganska hårda sängar då bäddmadrass alltid saknas. Vi skulle äta på hotellet när vi kom tillbaka och köket stängde tydligen 2000 men de var snälla och ställde upp och gjorde mat fast vi kom ca 20.30.

Her bor vi ikke igen.

Vi valgte hotellet på grund af dens placering tæt ved floden. Vort værelse var rent og nyt, men uden balkon. Sengene var støjende og blev ikke fikset trods anmodning. Der manglede lys over skrivebordet. Vi bestiller aldrig igen et værelse uden air con. Nætterne var ulidelige. (Hedebølge). Så er der kamp om p-pladserne. Der er for mange biler og for få pladser. Havde gerne set noget info og gerne på engelsk på værelset. Der blev gjort værelser rene. Kunne anmode om nye håndklæder. Det er ikke altid nemt at forstå folk gennem Corona masken. Men flinkt og hjælpsomt personale. Hvis man ikke vil spise på hotellet skal man køre til nabobyerne. Denne by er meget stille. Wi-Fi virkede fint.

My Place on the Rhine

This was our third time to stay at the Hotel & Restaurant Krone in Kestert and we have always been treated like family (the good side). We love relaxing in this little village on the Rhine River and watching the barges go by. The food has improved since our last visit and everything we tried this time was delicious. The beer wasn’t bad either.

Blev indkvarteret på et gammelt nedlagt nabohotel uden nogen form for bekvemmeligheder.. Ingen altan som lovet på internettet. Morgenmad var fint. Alt i alt var det falsk varebetegnelse og jeg håber ikke at hotel.com vidste noget dette

schönes Hotel mit Restaurant und Rheinblick

sehr freundlicher Empfang, hübscher Ausblick auf den Rhein von der Café-Terrasse aus, sehr gutes Essen, sowohl zur Kaffee- als auch Abendessenszeit, geräumiges Zimmer, leider etwas hellhörig, prima, dass man Jalousien verwenden konnte, die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein, reichliche Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet

Lovely place to stay on the Rhine

We were greeted by Mareen who was very helpful throughout. Relaxed atmosphere and nice surroundings. We had a top floor room overlooking the Rhine which was lovely. Good continental breakfast and the option for the half board menu which was reasonably priced. We ate in a few times and the food was very good. Must recommend the beef goulash with dumplings. The room was clean and tidy and whilst small it adequately caters for the need of the tourist. Andreas was a lovely guy who speaks very good English and was always helpful and willing to assist. Would definitely stay again!

Sehr nettes Hotel am Rhein

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Rhein mit einem schönenBlick auf die Weinberge. Wir hatten nicht nur ein Zimmer mit Blick auf auf den Rhein, sondern sogar mit Balkon, davor die Rheinuferstraße. Aber es war nicht laut. Tagsüber scheint das eine Strecke zu sein, die in einem Harley-Reiseführer empfohlen wird. Alle zwei Minuten fuhren sie vorbei, aber das machte Freude auf der Terrasse die verschiedenen Typen zu sehen. Ich fand es einen Gewinn. Das Essen war günstig und auchgesprochen lecker. Wo bekommt mman noch gute deutsche Kost? Was für ein Sauerbraten!b Aber noch besser war das Schnitzel mit gedünsteten Zwiebeln! Nette Gastgeber. Das Zimmer ordentlich, Bad klein, aber o.k. Nur die Matrazen waren etwas dünn und weich. Also nur schwere Menschen mit Rückenproblemen sollten sich ein Minus notieren.
