"This was an absolute dream of a hotel to stay at! The location was breath taking, it was such a peaceful atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The morning room turn-over was so quick that we had come back from breakfast just 45 minutes after leaving, and the room was made up for us already. The beach right next to the hotel has such clear blue water that is perfect for swimming, and clean sand to lay out on. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to all of my family and friends."

The staff go out of their way to make your stay feel like luxury - many little freebie extras keep turning up as delightful surprises and everyone is amazingly friendly and genuine. "The hotel is secluded which is great but also requires for transportation to anything outside the hotel. If you want to eat in a local restaurant rather than the hotel it's a 30 min Car Ride away. As long as that is acceptable to you no issue but if you like to go outside the hotel from time to time this can be an issue. There is nothing around the hotel area that can be deemed as acceptable, at least not what we have been able to check out. "

"My family and I arrived at this resort at 7:30am.. Jetlagged and tired from travel. The girl at the front desk was so nice.. She had the maid clean our room first and we checked in hours early. Yes, the resort has a bit of a 70-80's vibe, but it's grounds are kept perfectly clean and you're staying in the middle of a tropical jungle just steps from the beach! How can you beat that?? Some people that review this place and nitpick the small details will never be happy, because they can't afford the type of luxury they expect from a mid-range resort. The on-site restaurant had delicious food and was great value. The fire-dancers the one night put on an amazing show. This was the best resort by far on our Thai vacation. We hope to be back some day. "

"We last visited the Renaissance in 2020 and this visit surpassed all our expectations. To be met on arrival by familiar faces (Chin, thank you for making our visit so special) and as everyone mentions, all of the staff are so amazing, helpful and brilliant. We just wanted to relax and enjoy the great location, the beautifully maintained gardens, and the pool/beach area. Across the hotel, it is so easy to fall into the relaxed vibe, ably helped by the amazing Zee and the pool bar team, and of course Gift and Beam covering breakfast. A special mention has to go to the 4pm cocktails on the beach - there is no better way of starting the evening in such beautiful surroundings! We split our stay between the deluxe rooms and a beachfront villa, and whilst the deluxe rooms are really good, the view from the sea front villa was simply breathtaking. Thank you team Renaissance for giving us a perfect holiday!"
