The apartment was well furnished with appropriate bedding, fans, couch, chairs, beach gear, etc. The kitchen was a little sparse. It would have been hugely helpful to have a couple more dish towels, aluminum foil and tupperware. Parking for multiple cars was easy, the internet was strong for remote work and the view from the deck was amazing. Overall, the unit was very comfortable for a group of 8 and staff were incredibly helpful.

The grounds were all beautiful and well maintained. Nice pool area and fun games room for rainy days. Our unit was clean and quiet and comfortable. Nicely decorated and had fantastic views. Our only complaint was that nothing inside seemed quite bright enough as the bulbs were all relatively dim. In the bathroom in particular, difficult to put on make up and pluck eyebrows in the dim lighting. Noticed the same issues walking to our unit outside. Walking the outdoor halls to get there we would sometimes round very dark corners where we couldn’t see where we’re going for a second. The check-in staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Lots of amenities on the grounds in terms of pool and beach things you could borrow or rent, although we were there for a lengthy Kona storm and didn’t get to use any of it as the Kamaole 3 beach across the street was closed the whole time. Having a large lanai and a beautiful view made the days we were stuck in the condo during the storm entertaining nonetheless. We could still watch the waves and hear the birds. Didn’t mind being cooped up in our beautiful condo at all! Location is great, right across from the beach and a short walk to Coconuts (our favourite restaurant), delicious cinnamon rolls, and cute souvenir shops. Will stay there again for sure!

Room was nice and had what we needed. Hot tubs and pool were great. Gym area was nice but small especially when several people wanted to use it. Biggest issue was the EV charger on the property. The company that runs it are a bunch of crooks. Property in general was nice and close to the beach.

Bring your own mop and cleaning supplies! I've stayed in Kama'ole Sands and other condo's a bunch and have never been so disappointed. This unit was filthy dirty, your feet would stick to the floor, and be black after 10 minutes. We ended up cleaning the floors on our first day of vacation, so sad. Lamps don't work, table stand legs are broken, wall outlets don't work, pizza pan but no pizza cutter or hot pad.

The room was outdated and we were assigned a different room than what I booked. It was far from the pool out in the back. We had an assigned parking spot but there was another car parked there until the last day of our stay. Good thing we only needed to park in a spot when our friends came to fetch us. They just pulled up and we jumped in. The property itself is gorgeous but it wasn't the room we booked.

The condo was OK but there were issues with what was provided and other things. There were no frying pans in the condo. We bought a 3 piece set and left it for the next people who stay in this unit. The first week we were allowed to use any parking space. I am disabled and have difficulty walking further than 20 feet without terrific pain. After the first week we were in assigned parking. Our spot was about 50 yards from the condo and up a slight grade. It was difficult and painful to get to our car. When I spoke with the management of the facility I was told there was nothing they could do and I needed to deal with it. There is only 1 disabled parking spot for the entire 440 units. There are no disabled parking spots near the pool and hot tub. We only used it once as it was too far for me to walk. I don't understand how there is only one disabled parking place in the entire facility. If you are fairly young and healthy this would not be an issue but if you are older and have physical problems do not stay here. There were employees of Kama'ole Sands in electric carts doing all sorts of things on the property but none of them were available to making moving around the property for people who stay there easier. Also the internet TV stopped constantly and after calling about it several times without the issue being solved we had an annoying time with in room entertainment. This was not a good experience for us.

This room has not been updated since construction other than two newer faucets: this includes all original furniture and bedding. The kitchen lacks so many of items you would need to prepare a meal. The shower doors are original and don't slide in the main bathroom and the secondary bathroom is dark and it's difficult to enter the shower. The unit lacks air circulation. Overall, the room is outdated and feels like my great grandma's house. It's not comfortable or welcoming and the neighbors watch everything you do.

It was okay. Bedroom and Bathrooms are too congested. Bed was not so comfortable. I felt it was little too pricey for what we got to stay. Beach was good. No email/notification with details before we arrived. We drove from the airport using reservation address and kept going around not knowing where is the front office, finally when we were wondering if we really had the reservation, someone in the parking lot showed us the front office. Both the ladies at the front office were friendly.

We were there for 5 nights and had a great time. The tropical garden around the property is perfectly maintained. There are bbq areas which we liked. Our condo was on the third floor with a garden and partial ocean view and had everything that a family needs, modern full equipped kitchen,even some spices. The condo had two bathrooms and a washer and drier. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that needs improvement is the bedroom carpet which was old and stained. They charge you a big cleaning fee for each of the days but the floor wasn't so clean and noone comes to clean during the stay. Excluding this, everything else was perfect and we enjoyed our vacation there. We would come back!
