"The staff at Kauai Shores are wonderful. Everyone at the front desk: Novelle, Chevy and Angela are amazing and thoughtful. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Robertino helped us with our television and finding the World Cup channel. Peter makes sure the plants are pristine and well cared for. He looks after the grounds and gave me advice on how to care for my orchids at home. Honestly, this place is just perfect. The location is ideal. Lastly, The Lava Lava restaurant bartenders are friendly and the food is delicious. Trust me- this place is worth staying at- we did for a week!"
"A quick drive to the harbor (good eats, beech, indoor mini golf & a lighthouse) and close to the airport, costco, target etc. we found it a good hub to drive to both ends of the island’s roads However, Lihue itself isnt really walkable and the north side (Hanalei) which has a cuter towny vibe and great food & drink is ~45 mins drive away. Not a ding but worth knowing up front"
Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this hotel. The pool was amazing. Never too crowded, could always find a few lounge chairs anytime of day. Kids loved the water slides and different pools. We stayed in a 1br villa and the layout and kitchen worked great for our fam of 4. Maybe we would get a 2br next time to have more space to spread out. Great location, 5 min from
Shops and restaurants and Koloa beach where you can see turtles and snorkel. Will stay here again."
"This is a very unique hotel in Kauai-nothing fancy but very well maintained. Buildings moved from previous location many years ago. Location a little off the beaten path. Its located behind the Kalapaki harbor. Close to activities in Lihue. We have stayed there three times to start vac early and stay extra after main hotel location."
