Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge

While visiting the Kilauea Point lighthouse, the ocean was making a loud "boom" across the bay to the west. The waves were crashing against the cliff and repeatedly splashing 40 feet high from small ocean swells. This was the only location the splashes were occurring.

At Kilauea Point, one can view the Lighthouse, hundreds of Albatrosses, and the Kauai bird Nene.
