This is a golfer’s paradise. My golfer uncle from US would love this place. I am not a golfer but stayed at the lodges to attend a wedding in nearby Athy. The receptionists were lovely and extremely helpful. I should have taken their names. A special shoutout to the manager (again I didn’t take her name) of Hermione's Restaurant Friday evening 1st May and Saturday’s morning 2nd May for breakfast. She was very friendly, polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful accommodation and delicious food. If you are a golfer, this will be a dream vacation. Thank you kindly, Kilkea Castle.

Exactly what you would expect staying in a picturesque castle and the beautiful grounds surrounding it. It’s like taking a step back in time and enjoying the tranquility and history of it all. We stayed in the Lodges and they were very nice and clean and quiet. The rooms were large. Breakfast was delicious and the other dining options they had were very nice. They also had a bar inside the castle with a great view out to the gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
