We had a twin room, which was in the newer part of the hotel, room was lovely and very nicely furnished/decorated with a super shower and lovely bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was also very enjoyable. Hotel is is a great location close to all amenities.

Really lovely hotel, has character and new which work well together. There are lots of steps, but stuff great and carried cases to room, great breakfast and dinner's even tea and scones amazing. Being to a few hotels in kilkenny, but will keep coming to this hotel, 10 out of 10

Lovely old hotel. The room was lovely and quiet. The window opened for fresh air. Close to the castle. A very walkable area. Good restaurant, large portions ( I couldn't finish dinner or breakfast), lovely staff.

Property is under renovation and the builders dust really set off my breathing and coughing. Breakfast was good and the hotel is located in heart of Kilkenny. When the renovations are done this will be a great place to stay.

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. About 100 meters or so from the castle. Lots of dinning issues within a very short walks. Room was nice, very clean and well stocked. Only issue could be number of stairs.

A Wonderful Hotel In A Wonderful City

A very characterful older hotel. Well maintained. Excellent staff. Central location. Lovely breakfast well worth having. Parking included.

The rooms were old and needed major upgrades. The beds were ancient. The stairs up and down, little hallways, and more stairs, throughout the hotel were like a maze. The bartenders and wait staff were excellent and the location was good. But there are much better choices for the amount we paid.

Das Hotel ist super zentral gelegen. Alles ist super gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Parkplatz ist etwas schwerer zu erreichen. Aber nach einer kurzen Erklärung habe. Wir die Parkmöglichkeit gefunden. Da unser Flug verspätet war, haben wir unsere ursprüngliche Ankunftszeit nicht geschafft. Circa eine Stunde (nach ursprünglicher Ankunftszeit) hatte uns die freundliche Dame der Rezeption angerufen und freundlich nachgefragt, ob alles gut bei uns ist. Wir haben das als sehr freundlich und aufmerksam empfunden. Das einzige, was ich bemängeln könnte ist, dass es bei offenen Fenstern recht laut ist (da wir unser Zimmer zum Wintergarten hatten) und das Badezimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Alles in allem hat uns das Hotel aber super gut gefallen und wir würden nochmal wiederkommen.
