"It’s not a hotel, it’s student housing. The staff was very friendly, but gives dorm room vibes. Wasn’t a terrible stay, but would choose differently if we came to cork again. No parking so plan on spending around 40 euro a day on the nearest car park."

"This is a small flat on the top floor of a terrace house. Yes you can see the river just past the plumbers merchant yard and the industrial estate on the opposite bank. Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. The place was clean although old paint work and an excess of silicon on the shower tray gave the place a generally shabby feel. Then we opened the oven to find the grill pan had...

"Very nice hotel. We checked in late and the staff seemed a bit unsure on the process, perhaps it wasn't his usual role, so it took a little longer but they were still very friendly. No air conditioning in rooms which we noticed as we were traveling during a heatwave, so our room was incredibly warm. The included breakfast was wonderful and the location is incredibly convenient for visiting the Blarney Castle. Not many food options in the area late at night so be warned! We had to eat Mcdonalds as the hotels restaurant was no longer serving food and all other places in the area were closed."
