"Me and my wife had a wonderful stay here to celebrate our anniversary. Every room has a beautiful view of the St. Clair River. You can tell the Staff take great pride in their jobs, everyone was very helpful and the rooms seemed to be newly renovated and well cared for. Eating Dinner at the River Crab Restaurant was also a very special experience with an excellent selection of food and wine. We also got a great deal on our room offseason. We Highly recommend this place."

"We’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and always had a good experience. Nice rooms, good amenities, a decent hot breakfast. Overall a good place to stay. The location is decent and close to everything even though it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Disappointed the pool was closed during our stay as that is one of the reasons we chose this place again. Loved the suite we had with a large hot tub and a very comfy bed. We’ll be back, hopefully the pool will be clean next time."

"Stairwell was pretty dirty and carpeting needed to be replaced. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable but furniture in room was older and a bit banged up BUT, was still usable and considering the room cost not surprising. Overall a pretty decent value."
