"We had a wonderful room with both garden and ocean views at this beautiful property. Our private patio, complete with two chairs, was the perfect spot to spend the evening listening to the waves and stargazing. We could have stayed out there all night!
There was a small amount of construction on the grounds — it appeared they were refurbishing a water feature that will be a lovely addition once complete. It was a minor inconvenience that didn't detract from our stay at all.
Since we arrived having already eaten dinner, we didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but the aromas coming from the kitchen were very tempting. We'll definitely make a point of dining there next time!
Ragged Point Inn and Resort — a stunning retreat we'd happily return to."
"This place is really lovely and quiet. The views are amazing! Despite the loss of their restaurant they did provide some fruit, blueberry bread, boiled eggs and some other items for breakfast. It's a long drive in either direction for food so be prepared with snacks as the only way to cook is with a small microwave oven. The staff were very nice and provided us with additional coffee when asked. I can't wait to get back to Lucia Lodge, it is a special place."
"if you booked here you probably couldnt find anything closer to big sur. It is cheap and 2 hours away. The bed is hard af. But i will give credit that it is clean and has parking and the staff helped check us in pretty fast. the price ehh makes sense i guess. Anyways i reccommend that if you take this place on your way to big sur you take the route that is shaped like a 'u' because the drive is beautiful but wavy. On the ride home take the rainbow shape back and stop by carmel because its beautiful and they have good gelato by the sea and lastly because its more of a straight road so the drive back is easier. all in all this is a good place if its last minute and cheap."
"The rooms were so dirty and no towels. The 1st room had no lock on the door the the 2nd one had no TV then they blamed me for it being missing. Would not recommend."
