Staff welcoming. The room was warm and comfortable, plenty of tea and coffee supplies. A choice of herbal tea and decaf coffee would have been appreciated. Rayrigg Villa Windermere
Pleasant, comfortable and reasonably priced accomodation close to train station and local buses. Plenty of eating and drinking options close by. Would definitely consider when staying in The Lakes again.

Fell View
Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.
