"No Hot water on the first evening was told by the male receptionist that they would 'do something for me' but nothing appeared and then told they will get it fixed, Rang that evening as still no hot water and was told to let it run for 5 minutes but still nothing. final morning lovely hot water, no apology until I told the receptionist how frustrating it was. Room I stayed in had multiple issues including the mess on the ceiling, a broken slat in the radiator cover and a broken cover for the plughole in the shower that is quite a trip hazard"

"The Crewe Arms was, sadly, very disappointing. Extremely expensive for what was offered and, whilst not an issue for me, no breakfast. My accommodation was barely better than grubby and the whole premises including my room smelt of deep fat frying. Very disappointed."
