"Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. "Stayed overnight here. Room was good. The restaurant was closed for renovations. Food was available at the bar however we did not eat here. Able to walk to Canterbury Cathedral, about 15-20minutes. Lawrence the maintenance man was exceptionally helpful and we appreciated his assistance."

"All the staff were really polite, we stayed in one of the junior suites for one night which had a sea view. The room was hot when we arrived but the room had a floor fan so we left that whilst we went for dinner and it was fine after. We stayed half board and were the only ones in the restaurant on a Sunday night (there were quite a few in the bar area). The food was lovely and we didn't wait long for it at all. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and whilst we there things were being continuously checked. There was a good choices of cereals and pastries as well as a cooked selection, the breakfast was of good quality and if we were in the area again I would have no hesitation in staying here again."

"We stayed in one of the lodges. There were some maintenance issues. There were some broken tiles on one of the bathroom floors. It could have also been a little cleaner. But it was a good location for a wedding we attended. The breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. The staff were also very attentive."
