"We stay in Taupō a lot. This was definitely the best price for the best accommodation we could find. It had a kitchenette with serving utensils for 3 (apartment size room) and a pool outside that was open in August. We didn’t think it would be open so we didn’t have swim-wear. But there were lots of people enjoying it. We assume because we were right on hot water beach the water was warm. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had all the things you need and towels. It was perfect. It had great TV selections too. I know I’m all over the place with what I’ve written, but we just got back from a great road trip. We will stay at this Motel again!"

"The room was as I expected... A good bed, good tele, nice little balcony and a better than avg bathroom. A spa bath and a great shower along with a microwave and fridge give you everything you could want. Staff were welcoming and smiling. It was a lovely three nights."

"We had a room with a hot tub. It was great! Having your own private pool is perfect for a getaway. We did notice some areas lacking in cleanliness, such as dust on skirting boards and behind things. The room was also cold when we arrived, which was not ideal in August. Would stay again though. "

"Awesome place to stay. I was at the 2nd level, last room on the left. Very nice view of the lake and the ice mountain. Clean, private and comfy. They have bed warmers and both mounted and portable heaters. "
