A Hidden Gem We Were Lucky to Find
We stumbled upon The Glen Hotel quite unexpectedly — and what a gem it turned out to be! We originally had another place booked, but after visiting the breathtaking Glencoe and Fort William area, we decided on a whim to stay one more night nearby. We made a same-day booking at The Glen Hotel, and it was one of the best decisions of our trip.
The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which truly made us feel at home. But what stood out the most was the breakfast — each guest’s order was taken individually and prepared with care. It was unlike anything we’ve experienced elsewhere, and it made for a truly memorable morning.
I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or exploring the area. It was a beautiful and heartwarming experience."

Lock Chambers Caledonian Canal Centre

"Beautiful room! We stayed in the Loch Ness room which had a private balcony overlooking the village. Huge windows in the room as well.
The chap who came to bring us more towels was kind and friendly. (It was his first day.)
We stayed here after arriving in Inverness en route to Ft. William.
The only downsides:
Not a lot of places open for dinner. Had to eat twice at the Chinese restaurant. (Granted, it was delicious!). I wish there was an iron and ironing board.

"A Truly Wonderful Stay – Peaceful, Welcoming, and Delicious
My wife and I had an amazing experience staying at The Stronlossit Inn. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful – perfect for a relaxing getaway. Every member of the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, with a great selection of dishes prepared to a high standard. One of the highlights for me was the incredible selection of whiskeys – a real treat to enjoy while unwinding in the evening.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and top-notch hospitality. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!"
