"Hotel is located right on the fjord with amazing views of the fjord and glacier. The room was quite adequate for our stay, had a patio door to the outside which was nice. The breakfast was very nice with good selection. A disappointment was being asked to pay for an extra pillow for my daughter who had broken her collar bone and needed some additional support while sleeping. The area is absolutely gorgeous and idyllic. "
"This was a great location with friendly staff and amenities. Breakfast was simple but good. We were able to rent kayaks. Would definitely stay here again. However, there is another much nicer hotel located closer to the heart of town that has a much more affordable sauna (about $10 USD vs $40 USD per person) that has a better view and restaurant. Pricing between the two is comparable, so if the other location has availability it is a better option than this location."

Dramatic waterfalls cascade through Kinsarvik, where hiking trails lead to the 'Four Waterfalls' path with spectacular views of Hardangerfjord. Take the ferry from the village harbour to explore nearby fruit orchards or join guided tours to Hardangervidda National Park.
"The access to Voringsfossen is unmatched. The hotel is literally at the top of the waterfall. We were able to walk around the waterfall after and before the other tourists could get there. You could see down the canyon from our balcony. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the morning breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
No hotel in the area could match the benefits of the Fossli Hotel. "

"From the moment my friend and I arrived, we were attended to with joy, kindness and care for our visit! The staff responded to questions or concerns and activity ideas in the immediate area near the Kinsarvik Fjordhotel. Mario, in particular was helpful and so thoughtful sharing information Norwegian Fjords history & hikes."
"A fantastic one night stay in one of the river view rooms with our 18month old toddler. We had requested a cot and it was all ready for in our room when we checked in. The children’s play area was absolutely wonderful and such a help after a long travel day. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. The setting of the guesthouse is beautiful. The breakfast was okay, not the most choice but it was sufficient for what we needed. Overall, we were sad not to spend more time here. "
