The Salthouse Hotel

"We had a one night stay for my wife's birthday. Greeted by staff who were absolutely fabulous.Room and corridors spotless and had a very pleasant odour throughout. Room had all facilities robes, flip flops, tea / coffee. Could not ask for more. We didn't take the spa package this time around but seen the facilities The outdoor infinity pool is stunning. Breakfast was another hi point - wow. Matched the hotels high standards. A little bit dear but well worth it. Well done Salt house we will be back !!"

"Great location, lovely staff and fantastic breakfast. Room was a little dated, but full of all the amenities you would expect - kettle, TV, hair dryer, ironing board etc. The bathroom was well stocked with shower gel, shampoo etc and having a bath was a welcome bonus too! Something was flapping about in the wind outside my room, which woke me up a few times. Probably from a private garden nearby that the hotel has no control of! A fresh lick of paint, maybe some new furniture and paying attention to high dusting in the room would make this place faultless!"

"It is electronic entry so we only so staff when they delivered our breakfast to the room in the morning. There are plenty of options close by for evening meal. Parking is close by at the harbour as you cannot stop outside the guest house as it is on the corner of the main road."
