"Nice hotel , nice garden with places to sit in among the ducks. Clean rooms . Bit unsure on how to get into the model village on site , no information on it anywhere. Got to the gate only to find you needed a ticket from reception which is a good way back up hill so didnโt bother. Sign at reception would have been a good idea. Lovely receptionist when we checked in but the one in the morning was so miserable, never smiled and just seemed like she didnโt want to be there . Having said that would definitely stay again , comfortable hotel"

"I had a lovely room overlooking the lake. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The weather was extremely hot during my stay but the room was air-conditioned and lovely and cool."

"Excellent central location. The staff were helpful especially in reception and spa. The dining staff were efficient but less cheerful than one might expect in an establishment like this. Breakfast was plentiful but uninspiring. Luggage drop off was difficult due to heavy vehicles blocking the hotel entrance. The plumbing made a loud vibrating noise for 10 minutes after each toilet flush. The shower had excellent pressure and hot water. The room mini fridge had the internal light hanging down and the fridge didnโt appear to work. The hotel has old world charm and despite the small foibles mentioned above is a good accommodation option."
