Sehr charmante, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und top-gepflegte Anlage. Wir hatten ein 2-geschossiges Apartment - der Blick von der Terrasse war spektakulär. Üppiges Grün auf dem ganzen Gelände. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Old, Odd, Remote, Don't trust the pictures!

The rooms were odd, felt like staying in a concrete tomb. The pool was yellow-ish green, it was not swimmable. The hotel is very remote, no food, taverns, groceries within walking distance. beds were old and very uncomfortable, and overall we felt very unsafe in this location and left after one miserable night.

Hôtel under rated

This hotel is under rated. The character of this place is amazing. 700 m from the beach, nice pool, friendly tenants… I will strongly recommend it for all my friends with family looking for quietness and exclusivity.

Endroit superbe mais sans chaleur

Une infrastructure au top et très appréciée des enfants. La piscine et les moulins sont supers (le ménage mériterait un peu plus d'attention cependant). Quel dommage finalement car l endroit et superbe mais nous n'avons pas du tout retrouvé l'accueil chaleureux typiquement Crétois... Accueil direct et expéditif et départ sans personne, j'ai déposé les clefs à la réception faute de mieux. Du fait du Covid, à priori, les prestations, snack et restauration étaient inexistantes. Nous n'avions pas été prévenus malgré un mail avant le séjour pour demander si tout était ok. Cela nous a contrarié car si l'endroit est super, il est nécessaire de re prendre la voiture pour se restaurer plus loin. La prestation pool bar était là aussi inexistante (quelques boissons dans un frigo) à demander lorsqu'il ya quelq'un (ce qui est loin d'être le cas). Avis mitigé donc. Accueil et services à revoir pour faire de ce lieux un endroit inoubliable !

Proprietaires bienveillants a l écoute Location atypique moulin piscine barbecue. Tout est fait pour plaire. Près du centre de kissamos et des plus jolies plages de l ouest. Nous avons adoré malgre la période difficile Covid. Merci a georges Myra et Maria d avoir été aux petits soins pour nous.

La struttura è situata nel verde degli ulivi è molto rilassante anche per la compagnia del rumore del mare e il verso delle cicali, sembra di stare in un'altra dimensione. La nostra camera affacciava sulla piscina, è piccola ma accogliente. Una cosa da migliorare, è lo spazio per i bambini, che non corrisponde all'annuncio, i giochi sono rotti è almeno quello che è capitato a me c'era un nido di api. Nel complesso è stata una bella e rilassante vacanza grazie anche ai proprietari.

Mooie ruime accommodatie ( let wel elektrisch kookplaat een grote en een kleine plaat) waterkoker aanwezig , mooi uitzicht , maar je heb wel een auto nodig als je dingen wil ondernemen .Als het flink waait dan maken de wieken erg veel herrie ( ook s nachts) de ontvangst en contact met de receptie was niet te doen ( soms niet aanwezig) een welkom en fijne reis kon er nog net vanaf. De twee schoonmaaksters zorgen zeer goed voor je alles schoon, op tijd nieuwe handdoeken, schoon beddengoed. Als je het geluid avond e wieken en de iet zo vriendelijke receptie voor lief neemt een prima uitgangspunt om dit gedeelte van Kreta te ontdekken

Trevligt hotell där egen stuga är att rekommendera

Väldigt mysigt att ha en egen stiga med pool för sig själv på hotellområdet. Härlig trädgård där man lätt kunde hitta skugga då spel. Var sim starkast på dagen. Tyvärr väldigt hårda sängar vilket inte passade min rygg så bra.

Tout était parfait. Le lieu est un enchantement. Elmira est d'une extrême gentillesse ainsi que Roxani. Tout le personnel est au petit soin pour nous. La plage est juste à côté, possibilité de voir un magnifique coucher de soleil, très romantique. Tout près de Kissamos, et la plage de Balos. Nous y retournerons et conseillons vivement cet établissement.

Very nice creation and concept. Clean and cozy room. Bed was tough but overall it was fine. Management needs some more professionalism and organization. George the owner was very welcome and friendly. Very nice place to visit and close to all amazing beaches there.

Sehr schöne Anlage, 500 m vom Strand entfernt. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, wir waren 3 Wochen dort und haben wunderbare Ausflüge auf Kreta gemacht. Auf Wunsch wird die Wäsche gewaschen, täglicher Zimmerservice, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und Gastgeber.

Beware, misleading 3 rooms not in the windmills

On arrival myself and my children excited to stay in a windmill, the sole reason for paying the price we did and choosing this particular complex. The complex looked lovely and although a little early for check in we were invited to use the pool until our room was ready. However the female at reception did not approach us to tell us our room was ready and only due to my youngest stating they were hungry, did we notice it was 2.45pm. Having approached reception to check about our room, i was told it was indeed ready she just couldn't see us! Remarkable as reception is right by the pool where we and another couple were the only ones there! I was shocked when we were led away from the windmills towards an apartment adjacent to the restraunt, just a very ordinary but clean room, one of three, which is overlooked when individuals are sitting in the restraunt. Large glass window cracked and tape put on to cover, would be wary with very young children. Yes you have the nice view of the pool and the surroundings are lovely but most importantly not in a windmill. Reception was less than helpful regarding our concerns. The young lad George who often remains in the complex however was very nice. The pool is green(not blue) as our swimwear ended up. it would appear no further negativity is permitted on this post. A car most definately useful, but possible without one and only a twenty min walk to the beach or to the very quiet village through very quiet roads. Very disappointing

Unikt!

Fantastisk unik oplevelse at bo i en mølle med egen pool lige uden for døren! Den fælles pool var også flot, og vi havde de stort set for os selv til trods for, at vi boede der midt i juli. Omgivet af olivenmarker og bjerge helt ude ved kysten. Man kan gå ned til stranden vha lille sti bla. til en fantastisk strandrestaurant med stor legeplads. Vi kommer gerne igen!

Pool with no water and dishonest hosts

I really want to be able to give Kissamos Windmills a good review but I can't. The pool was empty when we arrived, we booked in October for an Easter stay in April. We were told the pool would be filled the next day and it wasn't. Following this the owner advised the pool is usually not filled with water untill the 15th of April each year. Had I been advised at booking I would booked else where, especially as it was a matter of 4 days to have had the property ready for our stay. We were also advised the pool filling date is available on other travel websites, we checked, it's not, and we didn't book through those sites. As a matter of courtesy, honesty and good hosting you would inform your guests if a major feature of your establishment is not going to be available. On top of this the 1 afternoon we had to enjoy the pool area the 2 men on site sat in a covered area no more than 10 feet from us staring at us and talking loudly making it a very uncomfortable experience. The lady we were emailing contested this but I have photos. It is very disappointing they did not have the site ready for us and they failed to communicate honestly and respectfully.

Siamo stati in vacanza con nostro figlio di 3 anni. L'appartamento è molto carino, pulito e confortevole. Lo spazio piscina è carino e ideale per i bimbi. Il personale è disponibile e simpatico.

A szálloda egy ablak nélküli, piszkos szobát adott a foglalásomra. Nem volt egyértelműen feltüntetve (képekkel illusztrálva) hogy mit kapok a pénzemért. A szép képek mind családi apartman. Helyben ráfizetéssel tudtuk korrigálni az Ő hibájukat! A strand csak autóval elérhető, nagyon messzire van. Sajnálom, nagyon szeretem a szélmalmokat, ezért választottam ezt a helyet, de nem szeretem ha átvernek. :/ Emiatt nem ajánlom senkinek!

Atypique et dépaysant

Nous avons passé une semaine très reposante dans cette résidence. Nous avons loué un moulin avec vue sur la mer. C'est très calme, propre, le menage complet est fait tous les jours ce qui est très appréciable, le personnel est discret, on se sent à l'aise. C'est un excellent point de depart pour visiter l'ouest de la Crète . Nous recommandons sans hésitation pour les amoureux de la nature.

Adresse à éviter

Les moulins sont jolis et bien agencés mais l'emplacement de l'hôtel et la plage sont au milieu de nulle part dans un environnement très laid proche de la route principale. A notre arrivée, la piscine était en travaux et donc pas de transats ni de bar/restaurant ! Pas d'eau chaude dans la douche. Petit déjeuner très cher (plus de 10 € / personne) et quelques biscottes seulement ... Pas de réduction pour ces quelques désagréments. En conclusion, une adresse à éviter sauf en cas de nécessité.

Buona la posizione geografica

Ci viene consegnato il monolocale vicino all'ingresso dell'hotel ed è risultato scarso nella pulizia, gli spazi sono troppo stretti soprattutto il bagno e l'armadio sopra al letto, alla TV si vedono esclusivamente canali locali, la vicinanza della strada principale con traffico intenso, la mancanza di oscuranti alle finestre ed il collegamento wi-fi non funziona quasi mai. Inoltre non c'è un cancello che chiude l'ingresso nelle ore notturne. Di positivo l'utilizzo della piscina (un pò piccolina) ed il parcheggio delle vetture libero, e la posizione comoda per visitare la parte ovest dell'isola. Il personale sempre molto gentile e disponibile anche se parlano malissimo l'inglese ed è evidente che non è preparato per servire la colazione.
