"The hot tub was low on water and filthy. Hotel, store, restaurant and ice cream parlor staff were exceptional! Coffee shop were borderline rude which took away from the other great staff!"

"We were leaving early the next morning for backpacking. Was able to get a room here at a great rate. Had a late arrival but the person at the counter was super friendly and got us checked in quickly. Room was as to be expected for a motel but was clean and had everything needed. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I was skeptical that a low-priced two-star hotel would meet my standards, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great value with friendly management. I wish they had better signage because I drove past it the first time and cellular internet was sparce, but that's the worst thing I can say. Great comfortable rooms!"

"Beautiful room right on the river. Slept with the window open and enjoyed the sounds of the river. Basic room - Very clean, modern room. Will definitely return, especially in the winter when it snows. If you come in the summer, bring an inner tube to cruise down the lake. Highly recommend for a basic, inexpensive alternative to South Lake, which is only 30 min away."
