My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night, we were very impressed with the very helpful staff, clean room and the breakfast was delicious. It's a charming old building. We would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is wonderful. Most of the staff were lovely. The cocktails were pricey but beer was typical. Food prices in the pub were good. The schnitzel was delicious. Bed was cozy.
Beautiful room, staff were6 very friendly and helpful. Supper in the pub was cozy and the food was very good. Breakfast in the morning was lovely with the choice of eating al fresco or in the solarium. Staff were amazing. Worth every penny invested.
Lovely property! Our room was beautiful room and the staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. We will be back!
Our room was beautifully decorated and clean as a whip. ( could have used one more
trash container). We were on the breakfast package and breakfast was excellent - lots
of choices. There are a number of stairs to manoeuvre but got along fine despite our
age. The Inn is very close to Downtown Fergus which is well worth a visit.
We booked our stay at the Breadlebane Inn during our visit to Elora. It is in Fergus, an adorable little town along the banks of the Grand River. It is within 10 minutes of Elora and all of its amenities. We checked in and were greeted with a glass of prosecco. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is good. The room is beautiful. My only suggestion is to provide instructions for using the TV. Initially it kept asking for a prime code. We eventually figured it out. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we are in the area.
Stayed in the master suite and the neighbouring room. Master suite was massive, and beautiful! Both rooms could’ve been a touch cooler as far as AC goes, not an option to control it from the room unfortunately. Staff were friendly during our stay, but nobody was at the check in area upon arrival - we rang the desk bell, had to go let someone know in the restaurant next door that we wanted to check in. Included breakfast was fantastic, also ate at the onsite pub for one of our dinners and that was good - but several of the items we wanted to order were sadly “sold out” (cider, Shepard pie). Convenient location for downtown exploring in the historic section. Very pretty town, and charming B&B. Would recommend for romantic getaway.
What a great getaway! Beautiful old Inn w/ many different style of rooms... we stayed in the Sinclair Suite- a large main floor suite in the adjacent building.
The food is amazing & service as well!
Close to quaint downtown Fergus & only 5 minutes to Elora!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Breakfast included was straightforward offering a set menu to choose from & enjoyed in the restaurant solarium, staff was great. Our room overall was good, clean & comfortable. It was in the carriage house, separate from the main house so it didn't have the historical feel. Plus you had to use multiple keys to access several doors. Room set up was a bit odd as it was an open space with the tub & bathroom sink visible. While shower/toilet had a door there was an open space above door frame. Room needs a bit of work with the patched ceiling.
