"At check in, no one was present at the desk so I rang the bell. The agent came out of the back, looked at the floor and picked something up, went back, proceeded to vacuum the back office, then start vaccuming the lobby all while I was standing there. Once checked in, we went to the room to find there was no soap in the room (by the sink or in the shower). We went to the desk to purchase a soda and get soap. After a search, we were informed they were out of soap in the hotel. At breakfast the following morning, we got down about 45 minutes after service started and, though there were waffles, there was no syrup. There were a few other minor issues, but the room itself was ok. Prior to our actual check in, we did stop to try to check in early (about 1pm). The room wasn't ready (totally fine and expected). The lady working was very helpful and friendly and responded to the bell immediately."
