"My room was clean; however it was old and run down, moisture ants appeared in my bathroom so I needed to switch rooms. In my first room, the TV did not work, the carpet was horribly stained, the tub needed to be replaced, the lampshade was stained, the mattress was lumpy, the furniture was all chipped, and the furnace and road noises were loud. This room also wreaked of old cigarette smoke, and the in room phone did not work, so you could not ring the office. I was also greeted with the stench of urine in the hallway of the floor I stayed on. No hairdryer was available. My second room was slightly better, but still old and run down, the tub felt like the floor was soft beneath it, and the tub needed refurbishing. The road noises were even louder in this room. I also wasn't happy they took payment when I checked in, rather than when I checked out. They also put a $100 hold as a deposit, but that is fairly common these days. The old addage 'you get what you pay for' rang true with this hotel. It works for someone on a road trip looking for an affordable one night stop, but not for longer stays."
