"I've travelled to 40 countries over the past 20 years, and this was the most disappointing hotel experience. I was approached during an afternoon walk around the area by a local safety team patrol member to inform me that it was a high crime area and was offered an escort back to the hotel. The water system had problems my last 5 days at the hotel with intermittent outages daily and no communication plan from the hotel to the guests. The elevators were not always reliable, the weekend staff was...

"Great location. Close to Rosebank where there are many great restaurants to chose from. Lovely breakfast. Friendly service. Only suggestion is for an aircon as fan was super noisy in room. Cannot leave windows open due to mosquitoes. Other than that we will be back. "

"It is a very eclectic hotel with unique lounging areas on the different floors. Staff were great and breakfast was good. There was an issue with no curtains or shades on the door to one of the balconies in our room but being on the 3rd floor mitigate any exposure. We will definitely stay again if we are ever in Johannesburg again "
