The Coastal Inn and Suites

10/10 Excellent

"Clean, tidy, and enough amenities for us. We didn’t cook much during our stay but what we did need was there. Could use a few more coffee cups and glasses in the room we were in but otherwise, just fine. We did not use their housekeeping services during our stay so can’t comment on that. Our bathtub was pretty damaged and patched up, which was a little odd. Our beds were not super comfy but just fine. Finally, the only hooks ANYWHERE in the whole three bedroom room were coat hooks by the door. None in the rooms. Also, there were no closets so all 5 people’s clothes that needed hanging were on that one spot. Building seems well maintained and the hanging flowers outside were gorgeous! Also, nice to have a couple of chairs outside the rooms to sip coffee in the morning. We had a good stay."

"This hotel is an older property with peeling paint in the rooms, no air (we got a box fan that didn’t even work but it was replaced when asked) and the height of the sink is for children. We just needed a place to crash for a couple night that allowed dogs and this fit that bill. The breakfast was good but the hotel was packed and they ran out of things very quickly. The hot tub needed to have more water in it as the water level was so low the jets will spray you in the face when someone gets out. The restaurant in the parking lot is very good and the staff were amazing but for sure need some upgrades done to the property. Overall it was a great weekend and the hotel worked for what we needed it for."

"The cottage was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Everything was easy to find. The hosts checked with us several times to see if we needed anything. We are planning on booking for next year as soon as we know the dates of our family reunion."

"Beautiful place to stay! The staff are usually really nice, but the new blonde girl needs some customer service training. She doesn’t have a friendly demeanor at all. She had a snarky attitude when I was asking questions and even talked over me when the manager came over to find out what was going on. That was not fun. Overall, though, it was a great trip!"

"I loved how close we were to the beach and they are a family friendly hotel! Wonderful staff! My only complaint is that our suite was very wn warm and hard to cook down as there is no ac or central air. But overall a lovely place and they are currently doing some remodeling. Would be interested in staying there again for future trips"
